Will the Dream of Biju Pattnaik Children’s Park in Dhenkanal town be a reality during Naveen Patnaik’s regime

The dream of thousand’s of people to built the Biju Patnaik children’s park in a govt piece of land in Dhenkanal town ward no 3 Madhuban area is being shattered by the unauthorised constructions though the National Commission for Child Protection Rights(NCPCR) has instructed the local authorities to make the govt land a children’s park no one cares.

Senior citizens of that area has written several letters to various concerned officials but in vain. The local residents have got threatening calls to remain silent, about the Proposed children’s park. Even the municipality has a proposal of spending 40 lakh s for the park . The Dhenkanal MP has promised to donate 20 lakhs for the same still some people have constructed a illegal road inside the land for their own benefits.

A PM awas Yojana house has been constructed in an unauthorised manner  in the prime land now one water tank reservoir is being Proposed to be built in the same land in a illegal manner.

It has given frustration nd mental agony to the residents of that area. The agitated locals have written to the  CMO  & PMO protesting the unauthorised construction and setting of the park immediately & to save the land from the clutches of the land mafia’s nd corrupt officials.

Several complaints to the Local Collectors hasn’t given any results rather the promise by the Municipal Officers and Tehsildar to cordon off the government land is a distant reality till now.  Will the local collector listen and help the area people in bringing the children’s park in to existence.
